Terms of Service

These terms describe how SerenityQuill works with authors. A project-specific agreement will be sent with every quote and takes precedence over the general language below.

Booking & deposits

A 30% non-refundable deposit confirms your project slot. The remaining balance is due before final delivery.

Scope

Each quote specifies word count, service type, deliverables, and timeline. Scope changes after work begins may require a revised quote.

Revisions

Each editing project includes one round of follow-up Q&A. Cover design includes two rounds of revisions; additional rounds are billable.

Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of your manuscript and any cover artwork upon final payment. SerenityQuill may use anonymised samples in the portfolio unless you request otherwise.

Cancellations

Cancellations after work has begun are billed for the portion of work completed. The deposit is non-refundable.
